Being a single adult is not a problem to be solved, but a unique opportunity to grow in faith and serve in community. Freshwater’s vision for singles is to offer study groups, serving opportunities, and gatherings for single adults.
Single Life Events
We understand that this is an intergenerational group. Our desire is to provide opportunities to:
- grow in our relationship with God through Small Groups
- connect with other followers of Christ
- to hear inspiring stories of life change.
- meet with singles who are making a difference in their world.
- find out what other opportunities that we are planning for single adults at Freshwater.

Singleness
Singleness and marriage both have pros and cons. Some of the advantages singleness has over marriage include more flexibility with time, money, possessions and making decisions. Single adults do not have to consult a partner concerning these. They can go when, where, why, how and if they want to. Single parents, however, do have more restrictions.
Singleness in the United States is increasing every year. There are currently 82 million unmarried adults representing 44% of all adults over 18 years old (48 million who have not married, 20.5 million formerly married, 13.5 million widowed- 2000 census). There are so many issues that face single adults today.
Be a part as we begin to launch this vital ministry.
