ServeCamp Mission Trip to Holcombe, Wisconsin – Monday, July 16, 2012 – Saturday, July 21, 2012
2/22/12 — THE MISSION TRIP IS FULL!
ServeCamp is a six-day mission trip that combines serving with the activities of a summer camp.
ServeCamp is open to Jr. High students entering Grades 7-9 in Fall 2012.
Christian Harbor Camp in Holcombe, Wisconsin serves as “home base” for the week. Campers are divided into “crews”. Each day after breakfast, the campers travel to a home in the Holcombe area where they will do home repair projects, painting, or yard work. After spending a half-day helping a family in need, campers head back to the camp for an afternoon of fun! Afternoon activities range from swimming and canoeing to volleyball and large group games. Each night, the campers will be inspired by challenging messages from a youth pastor and great times of authentic worship as a group. Add in camp fires, contests, and group games and you’ve got a week to remember! Every day is different, but it is always loads of fun! At all times during the trip, students will have adult supervision.
Final payment for the trip is due on May 15. Remember, you may deduct $50 from your total due if you are working the Student Ministries Breakfast. Payment can be dropped off at the church in an envelope with Pastor Kevin’s name on it.
